Robin at Ramshorn

A little bit about me…

My name is Robin. I was baptized as an infant and attended both Catechism classes and church for a few years as a child, but that ended around the third grade. My faith stayed in that place of childhood well into my own adulthood. It wasn’t until life circumstances brought me to my knees in prayer that I realized I needed to honor the God I was praying to, by going to His house on Sundays. The first few times I felt God looking into my soul, into the deepest recesses of my heart and seeing everything I was trying so hard to hide, I was amazed! And afraid. Amazed to find love, grace, forgiveness and mercy instead of the judgement I’d expected. Afraid to let myself trust Him. As His word began to encourage me, I found my reluctance and fear were no match for His love for me. The scripture promise below, shared here and in other places on the site, encourages me today as much as it did in the very early days in my walk with the Lord. Revelation 3:20:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”

You can count on it!

While I am not a theologian and I have no academic credentials in this area, I have a heart full of love for the Lord! I am a sinner who has been redeemed by Jesus my Savior. I am answering His call. It is a blessing to share the Gospel, the “Good News,” with you!
