Scripture: John 3:17
“Easter Joy”
Easter morning!
Joy overflowing!
Jesus is risen today!
Dressed in His white,
children of light,
together we worship and pray.
No longer lost,
redeemed by His Cross,
our sin debt washed away.
Eternal life is given,
by our Father in heaven,
His Son has opened the way!

God’s encouragement…
Easter has dawned! Only the day Jesus returns for us will be better. Jesus died on the cross for us, to pay the debt we owe for our sins. And only Jesus vanquishes the eternal darkness of separation from God, our Father and our Creator. From the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished.” (John 19:30) His words meant that He had completed the work that saves us.
The glory and love of God was on full and abundant display when He resurrected Jesus from the dead that first Easter morning. Jesus IS His Son. Jesus IS our Savior. For those who believe, this is the reason we rejoice this Easter!
Christ is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed! Hallelujah!
