“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39
God’s encouragement…
In the Gospel of John we are told that, “God so loved the world, he gave his only Son that whoever should believe in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This is an astonishing statement of love, mercy and grace that Paul expands upon in Romans 8. When I read these words, they push out completely any doubt about whether or not we are loved by God because of Jesus. The answer is a joyful YES! I have yet to encounter any situation in life that Paul does not cover with his list. We do not know what the future holds, but God does and there will never be a situation that occurs that can separate us from the love of God found in Christ Jesus our Lord. Comfort and joy for each and every day of our lives!
