Hello! My name is Robin Lybeck. All throughout the Bible we read about God’s immense love for us and His intention for life on earth from the beginning. This blog is the story of my journey with God through His Word. He reveals Himself to us through His scriptures, and He blesses us through them, too. I write to share how God has brought me to believe His story of redemption and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.

How He has brought me to believe…

I was baptized as an infant and became part of God’s family. This is how my journey began. In childhood, my parents taught me simple prayers to recite before meals and at bedtime. We attended church regularly. I made my first confession and received my first communion. For reasons never shared with me, soon after we stopped attending church. When this happened, being part of God’s family faded into the background. My parents divorced. Life became very confusing. I turned to my friends for answers as I looked for a place to belong. I forgot the basics of faith. I lost the understanding of what my Baptism meant. (Link to my story of Loss and being Lost…)

Jesus intercedes for those who belong to Him throughout our lives, but I had no understanding of this. I thought it was intuition or coincidence when I had a feeling that warned me about a decision I was making. That changed one day when I had an experience that only God would give me! Astonished by my “God Comes Knocking” moment, I simply had to act! I began to read the Bible. A little later on I started to attend church again. I found myself surrounded by an amazing family of faith who welcomed me. I realize now that Jesus is the ultimate GPS. He finds us and carries us home on His shoulders to God, with love and amazing grace. (Link to read more…)

The scriptures that began my journey of transformation through the Word of God, and that have called me to Proclaim His greatness, are these three:
