Hello! My name is Robin Lybeck. This blog is my story about God’s Word, what it reveals about Him, and how it blesses us. I write to share my personal experiences. I explain how God has brought me to believe His story of redemption and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.

To do this, I use scriptures found in the Bible, which is God’s story. In the pages of the Bible, we read about His immense love for us as He reveals His intention for life on earth from the beginning!

How He has brought me to believe…

To begin my journey, I was baptized as an infant and became part of God’s family. This was followed by my parents teaching me simple prayers to recite before meals and at bedtime. We attended church every week. I made my first confession and received my first communion. For reasons never shared with me, we stopped attending church. When this happened, being part of God’s family faded into the background. My parents divorced. Life became very confusing. I turned to my friends for support as I looked for a place to belong. I forgot the basics of faith. I lost the understanding of what my Baptism meant. (Link to my story of Loss and being Lost…)

Jesus intercedes for those who belong to Him throughout our lives, but I had no understanding of this. I thought it was intuition or coincidence when I had a feeling that warned me about decisions I was making. That changed one day when I experienced something that could only come from God! Astonished by my “God Comes Knocking” moment, I simply had to act! I began to read the Bible. A little later on I started to attend church again. I found myself surrounded by an amazing family of faith who welcomed me. I realize now that Jesus is the ultimate GPS, finding us and carrying us home to God. (Link to read more…)
